Your private information on a public site....

With the new technology accessing your private information is getting easier. There is a FREE site available that shares your private information. I have looked up some of your information and was able see your names, alias, past and current address, and pictures of your home!

If you want to remove the detail information about you, I have included a step-by-step guide below that will show you how to remove your information. Since this is very serious….share this with others and remove your info. I really hope this is old news for you and that you already removed your info.

Here are some tips when you are removing your info.

• You will have to be patient, because the website is slow at times.
• You will need your real email address to remove your information and may need to multiple email addresses to remove various name files.

To remove your private information, complete the following steps:

1. Go to http://www.spokeo.com/
2. Search your name
3. Copy the URL of your page
4. Go to the bottom right corner of the page
5. Click on the privacy button to remove yourself

P.S: www.spokeo.com includes pictures from your facebook page and the web, your credit score, your home value, your home pictures (with directions), your income, your age, your children, your email addresses, etc. Be aware that if you are divorced, your information can be linked to your ex’s family information so check your ex's information. Also, check your maiden name as well as other states you have lived in.
